La Liga (Week 24) : Valencia beats Malaga 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 17, 2018 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Valencia. After their 3-1 win against Levante on February 11, Los Che continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Malaga this Saturday.
Malaga had started off well by taking the lead in the 27th minute with a goal by Nigerian forward Ideye Brown. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Che nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Coquelin '80 and Parejo '85 on penalty).
Valencia CF remains in third place with 46 points from 24 games, 6 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
