Ligue 1 (Week 25) : Nantes hold Lille to 2-2
FRANCE, Feb. 11, 2018 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: Nantes was held to a 2-2 draw by Lille on Sunday.
Nantes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine forward Emiliano Sala in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Sala goal ('71) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Lille with goals by Mothiba Lebo ('67) and Pepe Nicolas ('81).
Nantes remains in fifth place with 38 points from 25 games, 10 points behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
