Oct. 16, 1988 (AMP) — Algeria 1990 (Qualifiers) : Swaziland defeated Tanzania on penalties 3-1, after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Swaziland, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Tanzania is eliminated.
