Jul. 30, 1989 (AMP) — Algeria 1990 (Qualifiers) : Gabon defeated Zambia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Zambia, who won the first leg (3-0), secured their ticket to the AFCON finals. Gabon is eliminated.
