CONAKRY, Aug. 19, 1990 (AMP) — Senegal 1992 (Qualifiers) : Sierra Leone defeated Guinea by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Sierra Leoneans top of Group 1 with 3 points. In their next game, Sierra Leone will meet group leaders Cameroon on September 1, while Guinea will face Mali.
