ABIDJAN, Aug. 19, 1990 (AMP) — Senegal 1992 (Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Mauritania by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Ivorians top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet third-placed Niger on September 30, while Mauritania will face Morocco.
