COTONOU, Sep. 30, 1990 (AMP) — Senegal 1992 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Benin by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The result put the Nigerians second in Group 4 with 6 points. Benin is fourth with no points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet group leaders Burkina Faso on January 13, while Benin will face Togo.
