LUANDA, Aug. 19, 1990 (AMP) — Senegal 1992 (Qualifiers) : Madagascar defeated Angola by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Malagasy second in Group 5 with 3 points. In their next game, Madagascar will meet group leaders Zambia on September 1, while Angola will face Swaziland.
