KAMPALA, Sep. 1, 1990 (AMP) — Senegal 1992 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated DR Congo by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.

The result put the congolese second in Group 8 with 3 points. Uganda is third with 3 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet group leaders Gabon on April 14, while Uganda will face Tanzania.
