KAMPALA, Aug. 15, 1992 (AMP) — Tunisia 1994 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Ethiopia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Ugandans top of Group 2 with 3 points. In their next game, Uganda will meet second-placed Nigeria on August 29, while Ethiopia will face Sudan.
