KHARTOUM, Jul. 10, 1993 (AMP) — Tunisia 1994 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Ethiopia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Ethiopians second in Group 2 with 7 points. Sudan is bottom with 5 points. In their last game, Ethiopia will meet group leaders Nigeria on July 24, while Sudan will face Uganda.
