FREETOWN, Aug. 29, 1992 (AMP) — Tunisia 1994 (Qualifiers) : Sierra Leone defeated Algeria by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Algerians top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, Algeria will meet Togo on October 3, while Sierra Leone will face Guinea-Bissau.
