Oct. 16, 1994 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated DR Congo by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The result put the Cameroonians second in Group 1 with 3 points. DR Congo is third with one point. In their next game, Cameroon will meet group leaders Malawi on January 8, while DR Congo will face Zimbabwe.
