HARARE, Nov. 13, 1994 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated DR Congo by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Zimbabweans third in Group 1 with 3 points. DR Congo is bottom with one point. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed Cameroon on January 22, while DR Congo will face Malawi.
