KINSHASA, Apr. 23, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Cameroon by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The result put the congolese second in Group 1 with 7 points. Cameroon is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, DR Congo will meet group leaders Zimbabwe on June 4, while Cameroon will face Malawi.
