HARARE, Apr. 23, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe tied 1-1 with Malawi (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Zimbabweans top of Group 1 with 7 points. Malawi is third with 6 points. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed DR Congo on June 4, while Malawi will face Cameroon.
