DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 12, 1994 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Tanzania defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Tanzanians second in Group 4 with 6 points. Sudan is 5th with 2 points. In their next game, Tanzania will meet Ethiopia on January 8, while Sudan will face Uganda.
