OMDURMAN, Jan. 8, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Uganda by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Sudanese fourth in Group 4 with 5 points. Uganda is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Sudan will meet Ethiopia on January 22, while Uganda will face Egypt.
