ADDIS ABABA, Jan. 22, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Ethiopia defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Ethiopians third in Group 4 with 7 points. Sudan is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, Ethiopia will meet Algeria on April 7, while Sudan will face Egypt.
