KHARTOUM, Apr. 24, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
The result put the Algerians second in Group 4 with 12 points. Sudan is bottom with 5 points. In their next game, Algeria will meet Uganda on June 2, while Sudan will face Tanzania.
