KHARTOUM, Jun. 3, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Tanzania by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Tanzanians fourth in Group 4 with 9 points. Sudan is 5th with 8 points. In their next game, Tanzania will meet Ethiopia on July 15, while Sudan will face Uganda.
