KAMPALA, Jul. 15, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Ugandans third in Group 4 with 13 points. Sudan is 5th with 8 points. In their last game, Uganda will meet group leaders Egypt on July 30, while Sudan will face Ethiopia.
