WINDHOEK, Oct. 15, 1994 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Namibia defeated Mali by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.

The result put the Malians third in Group 6 with 3 points. Namibia is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Mali will meet second-placed Guinea on October 30, while Namibia will face Botswana.
