WINDHOEK, Nov. 13, 1994 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Namibia tied 1-1 with Botswana (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Namibians 5th in Group 6 with 4 points. Botswana is bottom with one point. In their next game, Namibia will meet third-placed Guinea on January 8, while Botswana will face Mali.
