BAMAKO, Apr. 23, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Namibia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The result put the Malians third in Group 6 with 13 points. Namibia is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, Mali will meet second-placed Angola on June 4, while Namibia will face Botswana.
