LUANDA, Jun. 4, 1995 (AMP) — South Africa 1996 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Mali by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Angolans top of Group 6 with 17 points. Mali is fourth with 13 points. In their next game, Angola will meet second-placed Mozambique on July 16, while Mali will face Botswana.
