RABAT, May. 31, 1997 (AMP) — Burkina Faso 1998 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Ethiopia by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 1998 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Moroccans third in Group 3 with 4 points. Ethiopia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Morocco will meet group leaders Egypt on June 21, while Ethiopia will face Senegal.
