ADDIS ABABA, Aug. 25, 1996 (AMP) — Burkina Faso 1998 (Qualifiers) : Ethiopia defeated Uganda on penalties 4-2, after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Ethiopia, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Uganda is eliminated.
