AFCON 2000 Qualifiers : Zambia hold DR Congo to 1-1
LUSAKA, Oct. 4, 1998 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Zambia tied 1-1 with DR Congo (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result left all four teams in Group 6 (DR Congo, Kenya, Madagascar and Zambia), tied with one point. In their next game, DR Congo will meet group leaders Kenya on January 24, while Zambia will face Madagascar.
