KINSHASA, Jan. 24, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Kenya by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the congolese top of Group 6 with 4 points. Kenya is bottom with one point. In their next game, DR Congo will meet third-placed Madagascar on February 28, while Kenya will face Zambia.
