LUSAKA, Apr. 10, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Kenya by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Zambians top of Group 6 with 10 points. Kenya is bottom with one point. In their next game, Zambia will meet second-placed Madagascar on June 6, while Kenya will face DR Congo.
