KINSHASA, Apr. 11, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Madagascar by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the congolese second in Group 6 with 7 points. Madagascar is third with 4 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet Kenya on June 6, while Madagascar will face Zambia.
