NAIROBI, Jun. 6, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Kenya by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the congolese second in Group 6 with 10 points. Kenya is bottom with one point. In their last game, DR Congo will meet group leaders Zambia on June 20, while Kenya will face Madagascar.
