MONROVIA, Feb. 28, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Liberia tied 1-1 with Algeria (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Liberians second in Group 7 with 4 points. Algeria is bottom with one point. In their next game, Liberia will meet Algeria on April 9, while Algeria will face Liberia.
