KAMPALA, Apr. 10, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Tunisia defeated Uganda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Tunisians top of Group 7 with 12 points. Uganda is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Tunisia will meet second-placed Algeria on June 6, while Uganda will face Liberia.
