COTONOU, Aug. 2, 1998 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Benin defeated Angola by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a AFCON qualifier tie on Sunday.
The second leg between Benin and Angola will be played on Sunday August 16, 1998 in Luanda.
