LIBREVILLE, Aug. 2, 1998 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Togo defeated São Tomé and Príncipe by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a AFCON qualifier tie on Sunday.
The second leg between São Tomé and Príncipe and Togo will be played on Tuesday August 18, 1998 in Lomé.
