ALGIERS, Aug. 14, 1998 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Libya by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Friday. Algeria, who won the first leg (3-1), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Libya is eliminated.
