MONROVIA, Aug. 16, 1998 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Liberia defeated Niger by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Liberia, who lost the first leg (1-2), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Niger is eliminated.
