Senegal beats Nigeria in extra time to reach AFCON final
BAMAKO, Feb. 7, 2002 (AMP) — Mali 2002 : Senegal reached the Africa Cup of Nations final for the very first time in their history courtesy of a 2-1 extra time victory over Nigeria (following a 1-1 draw in regulation) on Thursday afternoon.
