WINDHOEK, Oct. 8, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Namibia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Zambians third in Group 1 with 3 points. Namibia is bottom with no points. In their next game, Zambia will meet group leaders Nigeria on January 13, while Namibia will face Madagascar.
