CASABLANCA, Oct. 8, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Kenya by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Moroccans third in Group 3 with 3 points. Kenya is bottom with one point. In their next game, Morocco will meet group leaders Tunisia on January 13, while Kenya will face Gabon.
