RABAT, Mar. 24, 2001 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Tunisia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group 3 with 9 points. Tunisia is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet second-placed Kenya on June 2, while Tunisia will face Gabon.
