HARARE, Sep. 3, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated DR Congo by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Zimbabweans top of Group 6 with 3 points. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed Ghana on October 8, while DR Congo will face Lesotho.
