BULAWAYO, Jan. 14, 2001 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Lesotho defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Basotho top of Group 6 with 5 points. Zimbabwe is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Lesotho will meet Zimbabwe on March 24, while Zimbabwe will face Lesotho.
