HARARE, Jun. 3, 2001 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Ghana defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Ghanaians top of Group 6 with 10 points. Zimbabwe is third with 6 points. In their last game, Ghana will meet second-placed Lesotho on June 17, while Zimbabwe will face DR Congo.
