KIGALI, Jul. 2, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Rwanda defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a AFCON qualifier tie on Sunday.

The second leg between Rwanda and Congo-Brazzaville will be played on Sunday July 16, 2000 in Pointe Noire.
