TRIPOLI, Jul. 14, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Chad on penalties 8-7, after the match ended 3-1 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Friday. Libya, who lost the first leg (1-3), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Chad is eliminated.
