ASMARA, Jul. 15, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Eritrea defeated Sudan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Saturday. Sudan, who won the first leg (5-1), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Eritrea is eliminated.
