KINSHASA, Jul. 16, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated the Central African Republic by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. DR Congo, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Central African Republic is eliminated.
